What comes off

Buildup gone. Surface still there.

The pellets hit the buildup, break it loose, and turn to gas. The surface underneath stays as it was.

  • Grease and oil
  • Carbon and baked-on residue
  • Adhesive and glue buildup
  • Dust, dirt, and grime
  • Some coatings and paint, depending on the surface
Why dry ice

Less mess. Less taking apart.

Cleans in place

Many jobs need little or no teardown. We tell you up front if yours does.

No water, no chemical residue

Nothing to soak into parts, wiring, or seams. The pellets turn to gas.

Non-abrasive

Cleans without sanding or scratching the surface underneath.

See all questions

Can dry ice clean equipment without taking it apart?

Often, yes. Because there is no water and no blasting media left behind, many jobs can be done with the equipment in place. Some parts still need to be removed or covered, and we tell you that when we quote the job.

What kind of buildup does dry ice remove?

Grease, oil, carbon, baked-on residue, adhesive, and general grime. It can also lift some coatings and paint, depending on the surface. Send a photo and we will tell you what to expect.

Is it safe for molds, tooling, and machine surfaces?

Dry ice is non-abrasive, so it does not grind away the surface the way sand does. We look at the material first and set the machine to fit it.

Do you need water or electricity from us?

No water. We bring our own dry ice machine and compressor. We will confirm anything else the site needs when we talk about the job.

How do I get a price for an industrial job?

Send photos or call. The price depends on the size of the equipment, the surface, and how much buildup there is. We give you a quote before any work starts.
